If one were to treat nothing as a tangible 'thing', then I guess the statement holds true.... but does it make sense to assign an attribute or a quality to nothing?
Think of an empty set? What is an empty set?... What is a set? A collection of objects (whatever that meant)... So, what is an empty set then? A collection of objects, without the objects... mmmm... wierd... sounds like a contradiction...
Then a collection of empty sets gives birth to more meaningful sets.. Then it goes on with that contradiction diminishes, ie it becomes normal and 'stable'.. I wonder does the logic applied in math 'fluctuates' when a mathematical entity tends to its nullity (I call it Zero The Great, as I always admire its subtleties). If so, what about other fields? Physics? Philosophy? and... Fundamentals of a religion?
exactly, to even have a form is an imperfection. i've heard this argument before, but it doesn't gel, unfortunately. something perfect cannot depend on component parts which are imperfect. or are we merely means to a certain perfect end, in which case, Man is not the highest life form there is. certainly light defines the dark but there must also be an eye to see it and a mind to contemplate it, if not they might as well not exist. at any case, light and darkness do not make perfection, it just makes a shady brightness and a darkness less so.
thus, there is no perfection, and consequently there is no god.

Interesting thought nonetheless...

read my next post, though i think it's still lack of tangibility for our rationale.
